Beauty Scoop: Clinique Pore Refining Solutions

A year ago I was at a Nordstroms at the Clinique counter getting matched for a foundation. I was asking about their skin care line and the sales lady actually told me not to buy any of the skincare lines Clinique had at the time, but to wait until their Pore Solutions line came out and to get that.  Of course, a few months later when the new line came out, I had completely forgotten about it!

In December, my Sephora order came with samples of the Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Instant Perfector and Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Correcting Serum.  My samples lasted a few days and I ultimately decided to purchase the Correcting Serum.

If you do not have a primer you currently love, I would suggest checking out the Instant Perfector, because that's really all it is.  I liked it, and if I didn't love my Make Up For Ever HD Primer, I probably would have considered purchasing it as well.  I like that the formula is suited for sensitive skin and when my MUFE is gone I might replace it with the Instant Perfector.

As for the Serum, I have not one single bad thing to say about it.  I don't need a primer when I apply it in the morning, my pores seem to have visibly shrunken (even though I swear scientifically that's not supposed to be possible), and my skin is so much smoother.  I really love it, and since so little (about the size of a Q-tip) covers my entire face, the price tag is worth it.

I definitely recommend you try out Clinique's Pore Refining Solutions line, especially if you have visible pores and an oily T-zone like me!
