Beauty Scoop: Sedona Lace 28 Neutral Palette

At the beginning of June, I purchased the Sedona Lace 28 Neutral Palette for $18 on their website.

I'd seen this palette (same as the Coastal Scents and BH Cosmetics palettes) used in many tutorials on Youtube so I thought I'd give it a try. I won't be purchasing this again.  I don't think it's a horrible palette, and for $18 it's a pretty good deal, but I've found I only like about nine of colors.  Most of the colors are EXTREMELY similar, especially the whiter nudes, and don't have a lot of pigmentation.  A few of the colors are a bit on the chalky side and there are also quite a few that I've experienced fallout with. Like I said, I do like nine of the colors that don't have this problem, so I feel like I paid about $2 per color, which is a great deal.  Next time I buy a palette online, however, I will save a little more for a MAC, Urban Decay, Kat Von D, Too Faced or NYX palette. They're all around $10 to $20 more in price (MAC is even more), but the color payoff and quality I'm sure is worth the extra expense.

Takeaway: I'd recommend this for teenagers who are beginner makeup users.  If you're more experienced with makeup, I would recommend saving your money for a better brand.

Thanks for reading! TGIF, have a great weekend everyone!  ♥ ♥ Danielle
