Shampoo di Jasmine - Smoothing Shampoo
Shampoo di Jasmine -
Smoothing Shampoo $20
This is the only dry shampoo I've ever used, and I really haven't found a reason to try others because I  like this one. I like how it smells and a little bit goes a long way. It's perfect for people who don't want to wash their hair everyday (and it's actually better for your hair not to).  At first I didn't like it because I was using WAY too much and it felt thick and I thought it looked like I had dandruff. Once I got the hang of it though, I really liked it.  I generally put a small amount about a half inch to an inch away on both sides of my part in a straight line back (so I know there won't be any white powder on my actual part for people to see throughout the day). This adds some volume to the top of my head where my hair usually gets flat. I will also put some in a section about an inch behind my ear, and I'll apply a bit about two to three inches up from the base of my skull. These are just areas where my natural oils tend to build up, but they might not be the same for you. After I've applied it, I will wait about a minute or so, and then rub it into my head. This will help with volume and help absorb other areas with oil build up I may have missed.  I then comb my hair because rubbing it in makes it a mess and wash my hands to get any powder remnants off. Overall I really like this product.

Smoothing Conditioner
Balsamo di Jasmine--Smoothing Conditioner $20
I got these in a 2 to 3 use sample size with a beautybar purchase, so I'm glad I didn't spend the money to try them.  The number one thing I cannot overcome in a product--even if it is great--is when I don't like the smell.  Maybe it's just me, but I really did not like the scent of the smoothing shampoo and conditioner. I usually like the smell of jasmine, but I personally don't think these smelled anything like jasmine. So for that reason alone I would never purchase the full size of this product. I did want to give them a fair shot so I used my samples up.  The shampoo lathers really well, which I did like.  The conditioner, which is supposed to be smoothing, did not seem very moisturizing. This set is designed for frizzy hair, so I assumed it would be very moisturizing on my fine, thin hair. My hair actually felt more dry after I used these than it did with most drugstore volumizing shampoos and conditioners I've used. I thought that was odd.  However, my hair did seem a bit smoother than usual after I blow dried it, at least at my roots. I did not notice a difference on my ends. Overall, I'm not going to be able to get passed the smell, so I'll be sticking with my other brands.
